Dr Bijan Tabatabai
...is a mathematics/business consultant specialised in decision analysis and forecasting. Since 2004 his research and development company BBS Ltd has worked closely with business practitioners worldwide - most notably Unilever - to develop a variety of robust analytical tools and methodologies to solve chronic management problems. He has also trains practitioners from the UK and beyond in forecasting and related areas - clients include: Unilever, Pfizer (PGRD), Shire PLC, Finlay Beverages Ltd, Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd, Mazda Motors (UK), Brit Insurance Holdings Plc, European Broadcasting Union and many more. Bijan is also a course director for Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), teaching on 'CIMA Mastercourses'.
Bijan has a first degree in Mathematical Sciences (Teesside) and a PhD in Mathematical Modelling (Durham). He worked as a University lecturer for over 16 years in UK universities leading, developing and delivering mathematically based courses on undergraduate and postgraduate programs as well as directing and supervising PhD research. During his academic career Bijan was extensively involved in designing, developing and delivering open/distance learning and adult education programs as well as working as an academic-advisor/consultant to a wide range of establishments within UK and beyond.
